Plyometric Workout Routine
A plyometric workout routine has plyometric exercises and strength training workout routines combined into 1 workout program. This means that you will learn how to jump higher in the quickest possible time. There are many gimmicks and scams when it comes to learning to jump higher. Don’t get fooled with shoes that make you jump higher, they don’t work and they will simply drain your money. There is no secret vertical jump shoe that if worn will give you extra inches on your jump height. What you need is an actual vertical jump program that you can follow and gain strength and speed in your legs. There are also many scams when it comes to jump programs as well so let me tell you what I have come across since I have tested many of them.
The 80/20 rule comes into play when talking about these vertical jump training programs because 80% of them are pure crap and then 20% of them work. I found that the Luke Lowrey scam of a product was one of the more expensive ones and didn’t produce results. I found the same with the Air Alert workout, it was fancy looking but when it came down to it, it just didn’t give me any more inches on my vertical leap even though the workouts seemed like they would have. But sometimes you can feel like a workout is really working because it’s so hard and your muscles start burning but the results can never lie.
So which programs are worth spending money on?
My number 1 pick would be a pretty even tie with the Jump Mentor and the Jump Manual.
